Sarah joined the Gold Standards Framework as Clinical Associate and Domiciliary Care Lead in April 2017. Sarah qualified as a nurse in 2014 from the University of Victoria (Canada). Her background includes general adult nursing and intensive care. Since moving to the United Kingdom, Sarah has worked within public health organisations, as a Health Advisor in the NHS, Health Programmes Manager and as a CCG funded project manager within dementia care. She is also a freelance consultant programme evaluator and has undertaken research and end of programme reporting for Hospices around London. Sarah completed her Master’s degree in psychology at the University of Westminster in 2017. She is currently undertaking her Doctorate in Clinical Counselling Psychology at City, University of London where she plans to specialise in dementia and palliative care. She presently works part time with GSF leading on the redevelopment of the Domiciliary Care Training Programme.
