WHAT DO YOU SEE? is a film by Amanda Waring, starring Virginia Mckenna. It is a powerful short film which takes a journey through a day in the life and a life in the day of stroke victim Elsie. Elsie craves compassion and understanding of the person she is inside, rather than the useless "carcass" she may appear on the outside. Elsie makes a silent but heartfelt plea for her carers to "look closer...see...me". For more information and how to order this DVD please see Amanda Waring's website

Liverpool Care Pathway and GSF
The implementation of GSF and LCP have been found in previous phases of the programme to be complementary in their combined usage and dovetail well together. Many care homes who began by using GSF have either used the adapted minimum protocol for the dying or the Liverpool Care Pathway (LCP). Other care homes have begun with LCP and then added GSF.
