Description This is Phase 1 of a modular programme. It is internet based, focused on reflective learning. You are required to attend 2 study days at Cardiff. It provides 60 credits and links into the Diploma and MSc.
Title Diploma in Palliative Medicine/Care – Cardiff

Time involved 600 hours study/practice over 12 months. Please note that this is NOT 600 hours of study but includes clinical practice time.
Cost £1,430 (in addition to £1,785 for Phase I)

Description This is Phase 2 of a modular programme. It provides 60 credits (120 in total with the certificate). It includes a paediatric option. There is a residential module part way through the course and also for the final exam.

Description

Suitable for health care professionals with experience of Palliative care or those new to the specialty. There is an introductory session as well as a final exam with 2 optional study days. The programme provides 50 CPD credits for GPs and 15/20 credits for nurses(University of Surrey/Ulster).
