More than 100 homes are putting themselves forward for accreditation - for the Quality Hallmark Award each year and the standard is very high. In this section you can find out what's involved, the benefits of this quality recognition and see an up to date list of the accredited 'Gold' homes. The GSF Care Homes Accreditation process 'Going for Gold', supported by Age UK and endorsed by all four major care homes organisations (NCA, NCF, ECCA and RNHA) ensures objective and independent quality assurance for those homes that have undertaken the GSF Care Homes Training programme and can demonstrate full integration of the work into their home. It encourages a consistency of standards, locally adapted to ensure that care homes are more likely to 'keep the gold gold'.
