The ADA After Death Analysis Audit Tool. The Gold Standards Framework (GSF) is a framework to enable a gold standard of care for all people nearing the end oflife. The After Death Analysis (ADA) Audit tool is one of the tools in the GSF Toolkit , used to audit and support best implementation of GSF , as part of the programmes to improve end of life care in primary care, care homes and hospitals. It can be used to support local personalised reflection of care for individual patients, to enable practical quality improvement, and as an objective assessment of progress made.
The ADA on-line site has been developed by The National GSF Centre CIC, to access ADA data collection, feedback and reports. ADA can be used in one of two ways - Comparative – before and after an intervention e.g the GSF training or Benchmarkingas a Snapshot Survey e.g. The National Primary Care Audit.
